Amy and Zach got married on the 30th July 2021 at the stunning Bassmead Manor Barns in Staploe, St Neots. This is an extremely popular wedding venue because of its romantic rickety barn for the ceremony and its contemporary barn for the reception as well as its lovely outdoor spaces. The couple chose a white and green colour scheme with a touch of pale pink in a wild and natural style. Amy's bouquet contained roses, spray roses, lisianthus, thistle, veronica, waxflower, astrantia, eucalyptus, ruscus and olive, and had the handle finished off with simple white ribbon.
Amy opted to have something completely different for her bridesmaids rather than miniature versions of her own bouquet, she went for gypsophila mixed in with foliage which were also finished of with simple white ribbon, this gave a lovely rustic look.
Amy had hers and Zach's little girls as her flower girls and went with a little flower wand which is super cute for a child who may not be interested in carrying a bouquet. Theses are done on a silver heart shaped wand with little flowers attached around the base of the heart alongside trailing ribbons. They both had matching flower crowns to wear as well!
Zach and his groomsmen had a lovely small blush coloured rose with thistle and waxflower as their buttonholes while Zach's also had a spray rose. These were tied off with twine which completely covered the stem to keep the rustic look.
These tall table centres have been one of my favourites to do so far, I love the impact they give as you walk into the room, and I also love the fact that they're on gold stands which your guests can still see through so can still have a conversation across the table. For table centres I always say its best to go low or high as medium height ones with restrict your guests from seeing each other and will kill any conversation across the table.
Big flower arrangements were placed on top of the stands and I believe Amy and Zach then used them to give as gifts after the wedding. They contained many all of the same flowers as was in Amy's bouquet.
These stands were hired from Dress it yourself, based in Hertford.
